For material that will be used during the first two weeks of class, please submit reserve requests two weeks before the beginning of the semester. After the first two weeks of the semester, submit reserve requests at least two days before students need access the material.
If an item to be placed on reserve has already been checked out from the library, contact the library Circulation Desk.
If a reserve item must be purchased as a new addition to the library collection, submit the reserve request as early as possible and contact your departmental liaison librarian to inform them of the purchase request. Library staff will attempt to acquire material as quickly as possible, but recognize that it can take weeks to obtain an item. Also keep in mind that the library generally does not buy textbooks for the collection or for reserves.
